Rosslyn StThe 'In the ZONE' challenge has been to capitalize on the site's city edge location and create a mix of residences and office/residences that satisfy a variety of lifestyles. Apartments are sited and designed for flexibility, spaciousness, privacy/security, solar /thermal /and energy efficiency. The project’s prime central city location allows the efficient and environmentally responsible utilization of existing infrastructure.
These exist not only in the form of roadways and services but in community assets such as the adjacent parklands, the Victoria Market, and both public and private - medical, educational, legal, commercial and retail facilities. The architecture is modern and progressive yet respectful of the heritage buildings either side and opposite. The design incorporates vehicular access off a side laneway and creates frontage landscape reminiscent of traditional inner city housing to enhance the streetscape.
